In this research, it was aimed to examine the individual innovativeness levels and categories of biology teachers and to examine them in terms of school type, gender, age, seniority, education level and daily internet use variables. Survey method was used in the research in quantitative research approaches. The “Individual Innovativeness Scale” developed by Hurt, Joseph and Cook (1977) and adapted to Turkish by Kılıçer and Odabaşı (2010) was used as data collection tool in the research. The research was carried out by 58 biology teachers working in public state schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education of Diyarbakır Province in the academic year of 2015-2016. Independent samples t-test, frequency, percentage, and One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used in the data analysis as statistical techniques. As a result of the research, the majority of the biology teachers in terms of individual innovativeness categories are in the category of 'interrogator'. In the research, it was revealed that the majority of individual innovation levels are at a high level of innovation. Individual innovativeness scores do not show a significant difference according to school type, gender, age, seniority and level of education. According to the variable of daily internet use, individual innovativeness scores have reached a significant difference.
