Abstract:

This study aims to determine the primary students' conditions to use of technological tools and equipment according to the the teachers’ opinions. With this study, determining the level of use of technological tools and equipment and eliminating deficiencies of the students will also allow them to have a positive perspective towards technological tools and equipment. The study consists of teachers working in primary schools located within the boundaries of Kayapınar district of Diyarbakır province in the 2022-2023 academic year. In this study, in which the qualitative research method was used, the data were obtained from 20 teachers working in primary schools by the semi-structured and non-directive interview technique. Validity and reliability were tried to ensure by explaining the data collection process in detail and by giving direct quotations from the answers given by the participants. As a result of the study, it was seen that the teachers stated that the use of technological tools and equipment had many positive effects such as providing equality of opportunity and increasing the quality of the education given under the roof of the school etc. In addition, participants stated that the active use of technological tools and equipment had a positive effect on students' academic achievement and facilitated their learning.
