Abstract:

In recent years, numerous publications have been made by young researchers, particularly focusing on the Antalya subdialect and its variations within the Western group of Turkish subdialects. This study aims to provide convenience for future research on the Antalya subdialects and to offer a general evaluation of existing studies by conducting a comprehensive review of works published until mid-2023, resulting in an attempt to create a bibliography. The publication of a bibliography of dialect studies holds great importance for experts interested in delving into the subject matter. It is observed that there are 17 undergraduate theses, 10 master's theses, 1 doctoral thesis, and 4 ongoing postgraduate thesis projects related to Antalya subdialects. Additionally, there are 15 books and 13 book chapters available. The number of articles written about Antalya subdialects amounts to 41, while the number of conference papers presented reaches 29. Consequently, more than 124 publications have been included in this study. This demonstrates that numerous academic research endeavours on Antalya subdialects have been incorporated into the literature of dialect studies through scientific publications. Despite the considerable amount of research conducted on the topic, there is a lack of a comprehensive bibliography encompassing these studies. The present study has been prepared with the purpose of filling this gap.
