Due to developments in Information Technologies, competition in Internet Service Provider (ISP) market has been accelerating increasingly. Therefore, it is considerably important for firms to recognize customers’ wants, needs and preferences in the market. There are two purposes of this research. First of these purposes is to show customers’ general patterns in İnternet Service Provider (ISP) Market. The second purpose and main objective of the study is to determine factors underlying costumers’ purchase preference on ISP market. In accordance with these purposes, a survey analysis has been applied and six research hypotheses have been tested to examine independency between factors of customer preferences and general patterns. For this purpose, Chi-square test (Contingency Table Analysis) has been used and three in six research hypotheses have been rejected. The sample for this study includes 285 undergraduate students of Istanbul University, Turkey. As a result of the study, it is concluded that customer’s subscription type and subscription period effect customer’s purchase preferences in ISP market. Additionally, obtained results via examining relationship between customer’s general patterns and preference of ISP firm has been summarized
