Hayvanlar insanlığın ilk dönemlerinden beri insanoğlunun beslenme, ulaşım, korunma gibi birçok temel ihtiyacının karşılanmasına yardımcı olmuştur bunun için de hayatımızda önemli bir yere sahiptirler. Özellikle göçebe bir toplum olan Türklerin hayatında oldukça önemlidir. Türklerin, göç sırasında yanında getirdikleri at, keçi, koyun, köpek vs. gibi hayvanlar yüzlerce yıl hep en yakınlarında olmuştur. Hatta çoğu zaman evin bir bireyi olarak görülmüşlerdir, bu sebeple de insanlar bu hayvanlara rengine, huyuna, cinsine ve görevlerine göre çeşitli isimler vermişlerdir. İnsanlar yaşadıkları yerlere, kişilere, bitkilere, hayvanlara kısaca benimsedikleri her şeye kendi kültürlerine ve dil yapısına göre özel isimler vermişlerdir. Bunlardan özellikle yer ve kişi adları inceleme alanı oluşturmaktadır. Hayvan adları ise tür üzerinden değerlendirilmektedir. Bu bildiride Ahıska, Kazak, Kırgız ve Türkiye Türklerinin at, köpek, inek gibi evcil ve kartal gibi vahşi hayvanlara verdiği özel isimler üzerinde durulacaktır. Bu Türk topluluklarının seçilme sebebi, Kıpçak grubundan Kazakça ve Kırgızca Oğuz grubundan ise Ahıska ve Türkiye Türkçesinin birbirlerine ağız yakınlığında olmasıdır. Çalışmamızda hayvanlara verilen özel adlar; dış görünüşüne göre adlandırılanlar, görevine göre adlandırılanlar, karakterine göre adlandırılanlar ve rengine göre adlandırılanlar olmak üzere dört ana başlık altında sınıflandırılacaktır. Sonrasında ise destanlardaki hayvanların özel isimleri verilecektir. Bu araştırma neticesinin dilbilim, halkbilim, toplumbilim gibi araştırma alanlarına da katkı sağlayabileceği düşüncesindeyiz.
Animals have to meet many basic human needs, such as nutrition, transportation, protection, and for this they have an important place in our lives. It is especially important in the life of the Turkish people who are immigrant. The animals, such as horses, goats, sheep, dogs, etc. that the Turks brought with them during their migration, have always been closest to them for hundreds of years. They are often seen as a individual of the house, and therefore people have given these animals different names according to their color, nature, gender and tasks. People have given special names to the places where they live, to the people, to the plants, to the animals, to everything they accept in short, according to their cultures and language structure. Of these, especially the place and person names form an examination area. The names of the animals are considered by species. This statement will focus on the special names the Turkish people of Ahıska, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey give to wild animals such as horses, dogs, cows and bears. The reason for the election of these Turkish communities is that the Turkish and the Turkish from the Kıpçak group, the Kazakish and the Kyrgyz Sons group, and the Turkish from the Ahıska and the Turkish from the Turkish group, are close to each other. The special names given to animals in our study will be classified under four main titles: those named according to their appearance, those named according to their task, those named according to their character and those named according to their color. The special names of the animals in the castles will be given. We believe that this research results can also contribute to the fields of research such as linguistics, public science, social science.
