Bu araştırmanın amacı sınıf öğretmenlerinin ölçme ve değerlendirmeye yönelik görüşlerini ve uygulamalarını belirlemektir. Tarama modelinde yürütülen araştırmanın çalışma grubu basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda çalışma grubunu 2007-2008 eğitim-öğretim yılında Elazığ il merkezinde yer alan 158 ilkokuldan seçilen 47 ilkokulda görev yapan 515 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacıların geliştirdiği 119 sorudan ve 7 bölümden oluşan bir anket kullanılmıştır. Madde dağılımları için frekans; homojen dağılım gösteren maddeler için cinsiyet değişkenine göre t- testi ile mezun olunan fakülte değişkenine göre varyans analizi; homojen dağılım göstermeyen maddeler için ise cinsiyet değişkenine göre MWU ile mezun olunan fakülte değişkenine göre de KWH ve MWU testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sınıf öğretmenlerinin ölçme ve değerlendirme konusunda kendilerini yeterli gördükleri; lisans eğitimleri sürecinde aldıkları ölçme ve değerlendirme dersi ile mesleğe başladıktan sonra aldıkları hizmet içi eğitimin kendilerine katkı sağladığı; performans görevi, proje ödevler, gözlem, portfolyo, çalışma yaprakları, seviye belirleme testi ve öz değerlendirme ölçme ve değerlendirme uygulamalarını daha iyi bildikleri; daha etkili bir ölçme ve değerlendirme süreci için araç-gereç temin edilmesi gerektiği önerisinde bulundukları sonuçları ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca ölçme ve değerlendirme sürecinde hem fazla hem de ayrıntılı formların olması ile maddi açıdan velilerin yüklerini arttırması yönünde olumsuz sonuçlar da ortaya çıkmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to identify the opinions and practices of classmates to measure and evaluate. The work group of the research conducted in the screening model is determined by a simple, unselective sample method. According to this, the working group consists of 515 class teachers who work in 47 primary schools from 158 primary schools in the Elazığ province center in the 2007-2008 educational year. As a data collection tool, a survey consisted of 119 questions and 7 sections developed by the researchers was used. Frequency for material distribution; variance analysis according to the faculty variable graduated by the gender variable for homogeneous distribution; and for non-homogeneous distribution substances according to the gender variable graduated by the faculty variable according to MWU, KWH and MWU tests were also used. The research results show that class teachers find themselves sufficient in measurement and evaluation; that they receive measurement and evaluation lessons in the course of their bachelor’s training and that they receive in service training after starting the profession; that they know better performance tasks, project tasks, observation, portfolio, work sheets, level determination tests and self-evaluation measurement and evaluation practices; that they suggest that tools should be provided for a more effective measurement and evaluation process. In addition, in the process of measurement and evaluation, there have been more and more detailed forms and negative consequences in the direction of increasing the burden of the guardians from a material point of view.
The aim of this study is to determine the opinions and practices of primary school teachers about assessment and evaluation. The sample group of the study conducted in the survey model was determined according to the simple random sampling method. In this direction, the study group consisted of 515 primary school teachers working of 47 primary schools selected from 158 primary schools located in the city center of Elazığ in the 2007-2008 academic year. A questionnaire consisting of 119 questions and 7 sections developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool. Frequency was used for item distributions, the analysis of variance based on variable of the graduated faculty and t test based on variable of the gender were applied for the homogeneously distributed items, and the KWH and MWU tests based on variable of the graduated faculty and MWU based on variable of the gender were applied for the non-homogeneously distributed items. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the primary school teachers considered themselves sufficient in assessment and evaluation, the assessment and evaluation course they took during their undergraduate education and the in-service training they received after starting the profession contributed to them, they knew better the performance task, project assignments, observation, portfolio, worksheets, placement test and self-assessment assessment and evaluation practices, and they suggested that tools and equipment should be provided for a more effective assessment and evaluation process. In addition, negative results have emerged in the measurement and evaluation process in the direction of increasing the burden of parents financially, with the presence of both more and more detailed forms.
