İslam Eğitim Tarihinde Öğretim Teknolojileri ve Materyal Kullanımı: Tarihsel Bir Analiz

Abstract:

Bu çalışma din eğitiminde öğretim materyalinin konumunu belirlemek ve öğretim materyali kullanımının kökenlerini belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. İslami öğretinin yeni nesillere aktarılması din eğitimi ile gerçekleşmekte; dini öğretinin kalıcılığının artması ise uygun öğretim yöntemi ve etkili öğretim materyali ile olabilmektedir. Öğretim materyali soyut kavramları somutlaştıran, öğretimi basitleştiren ve öğrenenlerde kalıcı davranış değişikliğini sağlayan önemli bir araçtır. Bu çalışma, din eğitiminde, öğretim materyali kullanımının İslam tarihindeki kökenlerine odaklanmakta ve tarihsel analiz yöntemi ile materyal kullanımının gelişimini ele almaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında İslami öğretinin yeni nesillere aktarılmasında kullanılan yöntem ve materyaller incelenmiş ve öğretim materyalindeki gelişimin karakteristiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca günümüzde kullanılan ve gelecekte kullanıla-cak temel materyallerin karakteristiği ile din eğitimin temel evreleri ve tarihsel bütünlüğü bağlamında din eğitimi alanında çalışan öğretmenlerin materyal kullanma yeterliklerine odaklanılmıştır. Alanyazında din eğitiminde öğretim materyali kullanımı konusunu tarihsel analiz yöntemi ile ele alan bir çalışmaya rastlanamamış olması çalışmanın öncü karakterine vurgu yapmaktadır. Çalışmanın öğretim materyali geliştirme ve din eğitim tarihi alanında çalışan araştırmacılara kuramsal bir zemin hazırlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract:

This study was carried out with the aim of determining the location of the teaching material in religious education and determining the origins of the use of the teaching material. The transfer of Islamic teaching to the new generations occurs through religious education; the increase in the durability of religious teaching can be through the appropriate teaching method and effective teaching material. Teaching material is an important tool that concrete abstract concepts, simplifies teaching, and enables persistent behavioral change in students. This study focuses on the origins of the use of the teaching material in the Islamic history in religious education and discusses the development of the use of the material with the historical analysis method. The methods and materials used in the transmission of Islamic teaching to the new generations have been studied and the characteristics of the development in the teaching material have been determined. It is also focused on the skills of teachers working in the field of religious education in the context of the basic stages of religious education and the characteristics of the basic materials used today and to be used in the future. In the field of religious education, the subject of the use of teaching material in the field of historical analysis is not found in a study that deals with the method of historical analysis emphasizes the pioneering character of the study. It is believed that the study will prepare a theoretical ground for researchers working in the field of the development of teaching materials and the history of religious education.

This study was conducted to determine the ground of instructional materials in religious education and to determine the origins of the use of instructional materials. The transfer of the Islamic doctrine to the new generations takes place through religious education; the increase in the permanence of the religious teaching can be achieved through appropriate teaching methods and effective teaching material. Instructional material is an important tool that embodies abstract concepts, simplifies teaching, and ensures permanent behavioral change in learners. This study focuses on the origins of the use of instructional materials in religious education in Islamic history and discusses the development of material use through historical analysis. Within the scope of the study, the methods and materials used in transferring the Islamic doctrines to the new generations were examined and the characterization of the development of the instructional material was determined. It also focuses on the characteristics of the basic materials used today and in the future, the basic stages of religious education and teachers’ use of materials in the field of religious education in the context of historical integrity. In the literature, there is no study on the use of teaching material in religious education by using historical analysis method, which emphasizes the pioneering character of this study. It is thought that this study will prepare a theoretical background for researchers working in the field of teaching material development and religious education.
