Abstract:

Family is a sacred institution with a religious, legal, psychological and social dimension, where the individual’s material and spiritual needs are addressed. One of the most important functions of the family institution is to educate a mental and heart-thinking generation. There is also a moral dimension of the family that it is impossible for a morally corrupt society to serve humanity in the name of science, science and technology. Islam welcomes the individual and social relationships that will be established between Muslim and non-Muslim communities. However, the Islamic law has shown great importance to the establishment of unity and peace in the family institution, which has an important role in the way of building a decent society. For this purpose, the fiction, in addition to the other measures taken in relation to family law, emphasizes the unity of faith and consciousness between those who will build a family.

One of the most important functions of family institution is to grow up sensible and truehearted generations. There is a moral dimension of family that it can’t be thought for a society which is degenerated in terms of morality to serve in educational, scientific, technical fields to the humankind. Islam welcomes social and individual relationships which will be established between Muslim and Nonmuslim sociaties warmly. In addition to this, in family institution, which has an important function in the way of composing a virtuous society, fiqh has given importance to ensure unity and peace to the utmost. For this purpose, besides the other precautions which are taken about family law, fiqh gives importance to the unity of religious belief and mind between people who will start a family.
