This study aims to investigate class teacher candidates’ attitudes towards reading habit according to some variables, such as, gender, type of education and grade level. The study was carried out on 400 class teacher candidates in Faculty of education in Mustafa Kemal University. For obtaining data, attitude scale of reading habit was used. Mean, Standard deviation, t-test oneway anova were used in analyz- ing data. The study revealed that there was a significant difference according to gen- der in attitudes of class teacher candidates towards reading habits, however, there was not a significant difference according to type of education and grade level.
