The purpose of this research is to reveal the predictive effect of parental attitudes on the children's ability to adapt to school. The research was conducted in a relational screening model. The sample group of the study consisted of 150 children, their parents and teachers who were selected with easy-to-reach case sampling. The "Parental Attitude Scale" was used to obtain parental data, while the data for the children were collected with the "Survey on Perception of Adaptation to School Questionnaire". Pearson Moments Multiplication Correlation and Simple Linear Regression Analysis Technique were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it is determined that as the protective and repressive-authoritarian attitudes of the parents increase, the adaptation skills of the children decrease, but as the permissive and democratic attitudes increase, the adaptation skills of the children increase. It is also concluded that parental attitudes have a predictive effect on children's adaptation skills at different levels.
