Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, anne baba tutumlarının okul öncesi dönemdeki çocukların okula uyum becerileri üzerindeki yordayıcı etkisini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi ile seçilen ve bağımsız anaokulları ile ilkokullara bağlı anasınıflarına devam eden 150 çocuk ile bu çocukların anne babaları ve öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Anne babalara ilişkin verileri elde etmek için “Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılırken çocuklara ilişkin veriler “Okula Uyum Algısı Belirleme Anketi” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, anne baba tutumları ile çocukların okula uyumları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek için Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyonu, bu tutumların çocukların okula uyum becerilerini yordama düzeylerini belirlemek için Basit Doğrusal Regresyon Analiz Tekniği’nden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, anne ve babaların koruyucu ve baskıcı-otoriter tutumları arttıkça çocukların okula uyum becerilerinin azaldığı, ancak izin verici ve demokratik tutumları arttıkça çocukların bu becerilerin arttığı belirlenmiştir. Bu tutumlarının çocukların okula uyum becerilerine farklı düzeylerde yordayıcı etkisinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of this research is to reveal the predictive effect of parental attitudes on the children’s ability to adapt to school. The research was conducted in a relative screening model. The sample group of the study consisted of 150 children, their parents and teachers who were selected with easy-to-reach case sampling. The "Parental Attitude Scale" was used to obtain parental data, while the data for the children were collected with the "Survey on Perception of Adaptation to School Questionnaire". Pearson Moments Multiplication Correlation and Simple Linear Regression Analysis Technique were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it is determined that as the protective and repressive-authoritarian attitudes of the parents increase, the adaptation skills of the children decrease, but as the permissive and democratic attitudes increase, the adaptation skills of the children increase. It is also concluded that parental attitudes have a predictive effect on children’s adaptation skills at different levels.
