Companies have been running in a throat-cut competition under the conditions of globalization. It is important to employ qualified personnel from the respects of effectiveness and productivity. Vocational education (training) improves both theoretical and practical skills and knowledge while providing personal development. The vocational (professional) has an important role in the economic development. When analyzed generally, the developed countries have formed their training system for the labor force they need. They have had enough work force from the respects of quantity and quality. Having not enough qualified work force is the major problem of underdeveloped countries. Accounting is very important for all types of business. To perform the accounting transactions without ant error or mistake, it is a must to employ qualified accounting staff. To meet the need of qualified accounting staff, the universities and high schools have been conducting the education of the accounting for a long time. Furthermore, the vocational institutions have been perporming on the vocational training. A strange case exists in the world of business: there are many trained accountants looking for a job on one side, there is a business world that can not meet its qualified personnel requirements on the other side. Here, we can mention a disharmony between the labor demand and supply. Therefore, it is important to harmonize and balance the supply & demand. In this context, the need of qualified labor force of the business world should be taken into consideration in vocational education/training. Both the education (train) process of the qualified accounting staff and the demand aspects of the business world are important. Therefore, the labor demand of the business world was investigated in this study. In the survey, the vocational and personal characteristics of accounting staff that the business world looks for.
