Hotel business entreprises which are in service sector are important in the national economy. In the entreprises which have employees who are commitment to their organizations highly, according to the research findings, job performance, productivity, work motivation, job satisfaction, organizational performance and job commitment are high, but employee turnover, absenteeism and lateness are low. There is a widely held opinion on the existance of relationship between demographic characteristics of emplyees and their organizational commitment in the literature. In this study, the subject that if the employees’, in hotels which have five stars in Antalya, organizational commitment change by their demographic characteristics is studied. The study was carried out during November 2007 and as the research sample, 20 hotels with five stars were selected. Required data for the research were obtained by the questionnaire. The Data which were obtained by the questionnaire were analysed by the program SPSS 13. In the statistical analysis, T-test and Anova varience are used. In the research, the level of organizational commitment is determined and the matter if it changes by employees’ demographic characteristics are noted. In the text, the details from the research are told. We developed specific hypotheses regarding the change of organizational commitment by demofraphic characteristic of hotel emplyees.
