The importance of cooperatives has been emphasized around the world by the announcement of 2012 by the United Nations as the International Year of Cooperatives. In the same year, it was revealed that cooperatives were able to operate in all areas of the economy and were extremely effective in promoting local development. The announcement of 2012 as the International Sustainable Energy Year by the UN at the same time also made it possible to mention cooperatives and energy concepts in the same heading. This has also contributed to the growth of energy cooperatives, which have created social awareness especially in the energy field. In many countries of the world, cooperatives operate in the production of clean energy through support mechanisms applied to promote energy production from renewable sources. Renewable energy cooperatives have started to be established in many developed countries of the world such as Germany, England, Denmark, Canada, USA and Australia. It is of utmost importance that this framework be evaluated under the roof of cooperatives established as a product of the imperial cultures of local and renewable energy investments in urban or rural areas, Anatolian roots in the land of our country, which is embraced by underground resources and miraculous riches of many foreign countries. There will be significant contributions to reducing energy consumption, reducing energy consumption, reducing energy consumption and energy use, creating a balancing alternative to energy market cartelization, protecting the environment and reducing the external dependency of the country's energy. In this context, compiling with inspiration from local and foreign studies and practices and bringing it to the agenda of the country and emphasizing the necessity of organizing in this field will contribute to the stability and development required especially in our country's economy.
