The concept of the Internet 4.0 of the industry has become an smart center that affects all areas. The environments in which the machines communicate with each other, the virtual world and the real world are combined. Developments in information communication technologies and widespread use of the Internet have affected the purchasing behavior of customers who have changed the mode of business and mode of operation. Time, speed, quality and cost have become more important. Customers want products and services to be available at the lowest possible cost and as soon as possible. It is only possible with technology to offer the right product at the right place and at the lowest cost. The logistics sector, which has a dynamic structure, is at the center of these developments. These developments have led to the creation of new trends and technologies in the logistics sector. Logistics companies have to use these technologies in order to survive and compete. The logistics industry has started to use many technological developments such as autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, intelligent robots, 3D printing, cloud computing, face and voice recognition technologies, big data analysis and bionic robots. The aim of this study was to contribute to academic literature, to introduce new developments, concepts and new technologies in the logistics sector and to encourage businesses to develop these technological developments. In this context, trends related to multi-purpose networks, integrated channel logistics, student- based delivery, shared economy logistics, smart energy logistics, super network logistics, and tube logistics will be explained.
