The purpose of the present study was to examine the problems that prospective geography teachers encounter during teacher practice lessons and their solution suggestions to these problems. This study was designed in descriptive survey model. A total of 140 prospective teachers from all final-year geography students studying in Karabuk University Faculty of Letters Department of Geography and also studying in pedagogical formation program participated in the study. Results revealed that the most encountered problems during teaching practice sessions were transportation to schools, the high number of prospective teachers in practice schools, limited facilities of practice schools, and the lack of supervision. Some of the solution suggestions for these problems were providing collaboration between university and practice schools, choosing practice schools that were close to the places in which prospective teachers dwell, increasing the frequency of supervision and the number of practice schools, and the use of student-centered teaching methods and techniques in teaching practice lessons.
