The purpose of this study was to evaluate the teaching practice course in terms of its targets, the teaching of lesson, the behaviors of practice instructor and practice teacher, and the efficiency of the course according to the views of prospective geography teachers. This study conducted survey model. A total of 140 students among final grade students from Karabuk University Faculty of Letters Department of Geography who completed the pedagogical formation program in 2014-2015 education year and spring term participated in the study. Results revealed that majority of participant prospective teachers stated that they acquired useful teaching experiences, observed how to make use of knowledge that they learnt until the final grade and had the opportunity to observe the use of strategies, methods, and techniques related to his/her field in the classroom. The majority of prospective teachers expressed that practice instructor gave them information about the practice process, communicated well with them, and enabled them to observe lessons in the practice school. However, prospective teachers stated that practice instructors helped them partially in terms of examining lesson plans and materials and giving feedback. Prospective teachers articulated that their practice teachers gave information about the student group that they would teach, introduced them to students in the classroom, introduced the physical properties (library, workshop, laboratory, canteen etc.) of the practice school to them, and allowed them to observe the classroom before their own practice and to teach independently.
