The key objective of this study is to ascertain if the organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior vary among companies through exposing the relationships between organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior For this purpose a preliminary study was conducted on 514 employees of two manufacturing enterprises While the organizational communication was dealt with in terms of its vertical formal cross wise horizontal and informal forms the organizational leadership behavior was treated in terms of its Altruism Conscientiousness Sportsmanship Courtesy and Civic Virtue dimensions Findings of the study revealed that there is a positive relationship between the subscales of organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior It was also determined that organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior vary among companies Keywords: organizational communication organizational citizenship behavior
