After World War II, Turkey has taken action to systematize understanding of multi-party system. In this sense, different parties were established. Democrat Party, one of those, which was established by Republican People‟s Party‟s old members, comes to power in 1950. The press had come to the fore at the period of Democrats which ruled the country for ten years. Some newspapers adopted a pro Democrat Party broadcasting policy. Havadis was in the group too.
