The purpose of this research is to reveal the metaphoric perception of teachers’ candidates about cheating concept. The sample of the research has been comprised of 68 preservice Science and Elementary teachers of in Education Faculty. Qualitative research methods were used covered phenemology . Content analysis was used for data analysis. The data of the research has been acquired through completing the following sentence for each candidate teachers; “Cheating is like ........; because .........” Teachers’ candidates have produced 45 different metaphors concerning cheating concept. These metaphors have been united under four conceptual categories in terms of their common qualities. Candidate teachers who have been studying in both departments produced four common metaphors.
