Abstract:

Bu çalışma, Diyarbakır’da sokakta çalışan çocukların genel profillerini ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir. Araştırma ağırlıklı olarak sokakta çalışan çocukların; sosyo-ekonomik ve demografik özellikleri, sokakta çalışma nedenleri ve sokakta karşılaşılan riskler gibi konular üzerine odaklanmaktadır. Bu çalışma, çocukların sokakta çalışma nedenleri arasında özelikle göç ve yoksulluk faktörlerine dikkat çekmektedir. Ayrıca bu çalışma; sokakta çalışmaya başlayan çocukların cinsel, fiziksel ve duygusal şiddete maruz kaldıkları ve aynı şekilde çocukların giderek suça eğilimli hale geldikleri yönünde bulgular saptanmıştır
