Abstract enIn this study we examine the level of primary school inspectors’ being able to accomplish their duty of guidance. More specifically, primary school inspectors’ level of accomplishment of their duty of guidance towards teachers according to the variables of a)type of duty, b)sex and c)seniority for 1) legislation and curriculum 2) development of education and training 3)lesson activities and class management. For this reason, a likert-type questionnaire was applied to 360 primary school teachers and 38 primary school supervisors in the province of Kayseri. For the statistical analysis of the data ‘t’ test, one way analysis of variance and tukey test was applied. Analysis of data shows that there is a significant difference between teachers and inspectors groups. In other words, teachers explained that inspectors do not accomplish their guidance at a desired level.
