The social and political problems experienced in the Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia have become a current issue in the country. Not only the adults and young adults but also the children are now at the center of the problems. The wording “stone-throwing children”, which has come to the fore in recent years, represents this situation. This study includes 26 respondent children who are claimed to throw stone, or detected to throw stone through photograph, camera or etc., or detained in the course of events, or whose case are not completed but likely commit throwing stone. In this study where the semi-structured interview, one of the qualitative research methods has been applied, it is aimed to find out the religious background and the religiousness of the children who are inclined to terrorism, to specify the relationship between committing this action and religiousness. This study also aims to highlight the importance of the religious education in protecting the new generation and preventing terrorism, and to suggest some solutions for a proper religious education.
