Since ageing, accepted as a common problem nowadays, adversely affects the sustainability of social security schemes, this study focuses on the demographic dimension of social security in Turkey. Turkey has the youngest population in OECD countries. But taking into account the fact Turkey will face the problem of ageing population in the future; it is important to analyze how ageing will impact the social insurance system of Turkey with longer life expectancies. For that reason, in this study, through reflecting the change in fertility and death rates which are main components of longevity, the effects of these parameters on the social security system deficits are computed
