Mamluks period been the setting for exceptionally bright cultural and scientiŞc activities and leaved an great inheretence for Islamic intellectual and cultural history. Scholars of the period left numerous invaluable studies in various Şelds. al-Qastallānī (d. 923/1517), who lived in the late 15th and early 16th century, compiled many studies in different areas such as hadīth, law (Şqh) and qirâ’ât. Also, he wrote an commentary (sharh) on al-Bukhārī’s al-Jāmi‘ al-Sahīh, entitled Irshād al-sārī. In this commentary al-Qastallānī carefully examines the hadiths that relevant to theological matters. In this study, we will examine approach of al-Qastallānī to these theologically-oriented hadiths in his mentioned commentary
