The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of 'Time Management Program" developed for the 4th, 5th and 6th grade students in Elemantary Schools. The program has been supported by National Productivity Center of Turkey. The aim is to help the students acquire knowledge and skills related to topics such as; time management, methods of using time efficiently, determination of a goal, establishment of priorities, making of plans and lastly supervision of physical and intellectual performance. This research has been implemented on 96 students; 32 of them are 4th grade students, 32 of them are 5th grade students and 32ofthem are 6th grade students. The duration of this study which is performed for each class level is 7 weeks; one day in a week and three hours in a day and it is performed for each class level. The programme is evaluated as "Assessment Scale of Studying and Learning Activities" and 'Time Management Information Questionnaire" which were addressed to the students and their parents. Before starting the study, a pretest and after the research a final test have been applied. Moreover, a self assessment form have been filled in and open ended questions are answered by the students. It is realized that the effectiveness of time management program is more strong in 4th and 5th grade students. The students', parents' and teachers' opinions on the program is generally positive and the findings derived from the measurement tools are in support of these opinions.
