This study was conducted to determine the levels of disappointment of students studying at professional colleges and to study whether the levels of disappointment of students vary according to socio-economic variables. The research included 416 students studying at the Kumluca and Finike Professional High Schools that continue education and teaching within the Mediterranean University. In the study, the "Beck Despair Scale" was used to determine the levels of disappointment of students, the "Personal Information Form" in order to obtain the students' socio-economic knowledge. The results were evaluated by T-Test and Variance Analysis (ANOVA). The findings of the study show that while students have a low level of disappointment, some students experience intense disappointment, there are significant differences between the levels of disappointment according to their gender, school success status, friendship relationships and income status. The study found that there were no significant differences between the classes, the places where they stayed and the high school they graduated. They also found that there were no significant differences between their families, their educational conditions and their working conditions.
