This study aims to investigate the intrinsic motivation of primary school teachers and their views regarding organizational identity and to determine whether there is a significant relationship between these two variables. The universe of the study consists teachers (n=166) working at primary schools located in Düzce Province (Kaynaşlı District) in the 2011-2012 academic year and they were selected by implementing relational screening model.Organizational Identity Scale and Intrinsic Motivation Scales were used as data collection instruments in the study. The results of the study revealed that the level of teachers' perceptions regarding both organizational identity and intrinsic motivation are high. It was found that there was a low positive significant difference between teachers' organizational identity and intrinsic motivation perceptions. It was also found that there was a significant difference between teachers' organizational identity and sex, age and seniority variables
