The purpose of this study is to examine relationship between school principal's emotional intelligence and conflict resolution strategies. Subjects were 71 elementary school principals in the province of Erzurum. Data were collected via Conflict Resolution Strategies Scale and Emotional Intelligence Scale. Zero order correlation coefficients were computed to examine relationships between conflict resolution strategies and subscales of emotional intelligence. Findings demonstrated that principals scored relatively low on emotional intelligence scale, especially on empathy and emotional management subscales. Significant positive associations were observed between conflict resolution strategies and emotional intelligence subscales.
