Özet:

In the research conducted to determine the current problems of the trainers in Turkish sports management, the universe of the research consists of coaches working in Ankara in 2018. The sample of the study consisted of 401 volunteers. In order to determine the current problems of coaches in Turkish sports management, a 40-item 3-Likert type questionnaire developed by Özen et al. (2012) and used for the first time in the study 'Evaluation of Academicians' Views on Current Problems in Turkish Sports Management' was given to participants in addition to personal information form. As a result, it was found that coaches think sports managers do not speak a sufficient level of foreign language, the Federation does not send people who have the sufficient competence to recognize the changes and developments in the world to activities abroad, state schools do not have fields suitable for doing sport, sports equipment and enough sports facilities, local governments do not have enough sports facilities and services, there aren't enough sports facilities suitable for international norms in Turkey, clubs cannot perform sufficient levels of activities to search for, find and train athletes, clubs do not fulfil their responsibilities in building facilities and physical education courses in schools do not guide students to the sports branches they are interested in.
