Sports clubs are indispensable elements of the sporting life. Turkey is one of the few countriest hat has provisions to promote the sport in their Cons titutions. Financial means are needed to allow the sports clubs to continue their activities. However, in case of the absence of adequate financial means, the state support for the sport is inevitable.Sport in Turkey is encouraged and supported by the state, also certain amount of financial assistance is given to the sports clubs. The main objectives of thestate’s sports policy are to increase the number of athletes in the country, to achieve outstanding success in international competitions and to prepare an appropriate environment to promote individuels from allages for doing sport.
