Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the employees’ emotional work and the levels of exhaust. For this purpose, the data collected by the survey technique from 173 participants working in the service sector was studied through statistical analyses (such as identifying statistics, correlation analysis). In the framework of the research, Brotheridge and Lee (2003) developed and adapted to the Turkish by Dursun, Aytaç and Bayram (2014) with the "Emotional Work Scale" developed by Pines (2005) and adapted to the Turkish by Capri (2013) used the "Emotional Work Scale-Short Form (TÖ-KF)" implemented. The results of relevant analyses have found that the participants generally have emotional work behavior and their extinction at a medium level. It has also been found that false emotions, deep action and hidden emotions have positive relationships between the three subdimensions and exhaust.
