Abstract:

Tarık Özcan, who has painted his poems since the 1970s, along with his poem book, Second Light, published in 2005, his academic identity as well as his poem identity, takes his place in the literary world. The academic work of Özcan has made a new background culture formed in poetry. The poet, who has not broken from the tradition and collected the poems of the second period he wrote using the possibilities of modern language and technology with the Blind Poetry Book, captures his original outcome, appears to have more individual places in his poems. But there are also poems that show that the society in which he lives is not ignorant. The poet brought his achievement of creating his own style that he began with Blindness to the summit in Asian Sadness. His poems go to formal changes, and continues to themes such as Sadness, Love, Woman, Death, Nature. In this work we will try to get out of the life of Özcan and reach the world of his senses.
