Workplace transfer is an inevitable result of economic conditions. Most debatable issues concerning work place transfer is workplace transfer according to labor law. By workplace transfer, not only the subject of activity and tangible and intangible assets are transferred but also the workers of the workplace are subject to transfer. In the situations where job security is tried to be secured for the workers various problems may occur in workplace transfers. While the rights provided by the contract for workers have to be pursued by the employer in transfers, workers either cannot terminate their labor contracts. According to 6th article of the 4857 numbered Turkish Labor Code, all rights and duties of the labor contract are transferred with workplace transfers
