SANAL KAYTARMANIN VERİMLİLİĞE VE MALİYETE ETKİSİ: BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract:

Sanal kaytarma, çalışanların çalışma saati içerisinde internet tabanlı oyun oynama, alışveriş yapma, kişisel maillerini kontrol etme, eğitim alma, haber sitelerini takip etme vb. eylemleri yapmasıdır. Günümüzde internetin yaygın kullanılması, akıllı telefonlar aracılığı ile internet tabanlı uygulamalara ulaşımın daha kolay olması gibi gelişmeler, sanal kaytarma eyleminin de yaygınlaşma riskini artırmaktadır. Sanal kaytarma ile ilgili yurtiçi ve yurtdışı çalışmalar incelendiğinde bazı tanımlama ve sınıflandırmaların yapıldığı görülmektedir. Çalışmada sanal kaytarmaya ilişkin kavramsal bilgilere yer verilerek, çalışan ve işveren açısından etkisinin ne yönde olacağının tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışanlara ve işverenlere yönelik anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Yapılan uygulama sonucunda sanal kaytarmanın çalışanlar ile işverene, verimlilik ve maliyet açısından etkisi ölçülerek analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizde elde edilen sonuca göre çalışan ve işveren açısından önemli olan etkiler tespit edilmiş, bu etkilere ilişkin olumlu ya da olumsuz olmasına göre neler yapılabileceği ile ilgili öneriler sunulmuştur.

Cyberloafing is the act of employees to play internet-based games, to shop, to check personal mails, to receive training, to follow news sites during working hours. Today, the widespread use of the internet, easier access to internet-based applications through smartphones is an indication of the intense execution of these actions. When domestic and foreign studies related to cyberloafing are examined, it is seen that some definitions are made and classifications are made. The aim of the study is to determine the direction of the effect in terms of employee and employer by giving conceptual information about cyberloafing. Employees and employers have been surveyed. As a result of the implementation, the employees of the Cyberloafing and the employer have been analyzed by measuring the effect in terms of productivity and cost. According to the results obtained in the analysis, the significant effects on the employee and the employer have been determined and suggestions on what to do according to whether they are positive or negative about these effects are presented.
