The fundamental rights and freedoms of the individuals have been assured by the Constitutions at the democratic states. Protection of the personal data shall be evaluated within this context. Personal data means all the data as to identified and to be identified real persons and legal entities. ID information, age, marital status, phone number, address information, medical history, passport information could be given as an illustration. Ensuring legal protection of the personal data is of utmost importance for the protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms because the request from the individuals as to the protection of his or her own the personal data is deemed as a fundamental right and freedom. Developments in the information and communication technology and easing of the access to the information electronically improved the importance of the protection of the personal data. For instance, most of the personal data could be kept and maintained electronically with the e-state practices.
