İlköğretim Öğrencilerinin Fen ve Teknoloji Dersinde Fen Günlüğü Kullanımına İlişkin Görüşleri

Abstract:

Bu araştırma, altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin fen ve teknoloji dersinde, fen günlükleri kullanımına ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılının ikinci yarıyılında Adıyaman il merkezindeki bir ilköğretim okulunun altıncı sınıfında öğrenim gören 3 öğrenci (1 kız, 2 erkek) oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin üç ay boyunca günlük tutmaları istenmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme ve katılımcı gözlem tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, fen günlüklerinin öğrencilerin ders tekrarı yapmalarında, fen ve teknoloji dersindeki başarılarının artmasında, fen ve teknoloji dersine ve ders öğretmenine olumlu tutum geliştirmelerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Primary School Students’ Views About Use Of Science Journal In Science and Technology Course

Abstract:

This research aimed to determine the primary sixth grades of students’ views about use of science journal in science and technology lesson . Qualitative research design is used in this research .The sample of the research is formed by three students (1 female, 2 males) attending a primary school in the second semester of 2011-2012 academic year in Adıyaman. The participating students in this research is wanted to keep science journal daily throughout three months. In this study, semi-structured interviews and participant observation techniques are used for data collection tool. As a result of research, it was found that the science journals are helped to repeat course by students as well as increasing success in science and technology lessons and made some contributions about developing positive attitudes toward science and technology lesson and teacher of this lesson.
