Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of playing small footballers in amateur football leagues on the level of sports self-capacity on the player. The study was aimed at players in amateur football leagues in the 2018-2019 season and applied to a total of 320 footballers. The study used the "Personal Information Form" created by the researcher with the "Continuous Sports Self-Confidence Scale" (SSKGÖ) adapted to Turkish by Yıldırım (2009) developed by Vealey (1986) as a data collection tool. The data received was analyzed through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) statistical program. In the analysis of the data, the identificative statistics were first examined. The data was first tested with normality tests. The normality test in this scope has shown that the data has a normal distribution. Parametric tests are also performed. In terms of the reliability of the study, it was submitted to Cronbach's Alpha test, the study also used independent sampling t test, one-way variance analysis test, frequency analysis and ki-core test. The research finds that, taking into account the research on the subject, there are studies on self-capacity but there is no research on amateur footballers and young players. This is why this work is considered important in terms of filling the gap that is missing in the field and creating resources for new work.
