Kriz Yönetiminde Etkili Liderlik Tarzının Belirlenmesi: Erzurum İli Örneği

Abstract:

Küreselleşme ile birlikte krizlerin etkilerinin daha da hissedilir hale gelmesi günümüz işletme liderlerinin üzerine daha fazla sorumluluk yüklemektedir. Krizler hiç beklenmedik bir anda meydana çıkabilmekte kısa ya da uzun vadede devam etmekte ve işletmeleri daha fazla etkileyebilmektedir. Kriz durumunda işletme liderlerinden beklenen ise krizlerin olumsuz etkilerini azaltmak ya da krizi fırsata dönüştürebilecek şekilde yönetmektir. Bu çalışmada kriz yönetiminde hayati öneme sahip olan liderlik tarzlarından hangisinin daha etkili olabileceği belirlenmeye çalışılarak işletme liderlerine yol gösterilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2019 yılında Erzurum ilinde faaliyette bulunan iki çağrı merkezinin 103 çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada regresyon analiz yönteminden faydalanılmış olup araştırma sonucunda sadece kriz öncesi dönemde vizyoner liderliğin etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

With globalization, the impact of crises becomes even more sensitive leads more responsibility to today’s business leaders. Crises can occur in an unexpected moment and continue in the short or long term and can affect more. In the case of crisis, the business leaders are expected to reduce the negative effects of crises or manage them in a way that can turn the crisis into an opportunity. This study aims to guide business leaders by trying to determine which of the leadership styles that are vital in crisis management can be more effective. The sample of the study consists of 103 employees of two call centers operating in the Erzurum province in 2019. The research has taken advantage of the regression analysis method and the research results have found that visionary leadership is effective only in the pre-crisis period.
