In this study the views of preschool and primary school teachers related to the first year of 60-72 months. The study group was totally 20 teachers including 10 pre-school teachers and 10 primary school teachers determined by simple random sampling method from preschool and primary school teachers working in National Ministry of Education in Bolu. The study is is a descriptive study and the research data were collected at the end of spring term of the 2011-2012 academic year by interview technique that most commonly used in qualitative research. The data were analyzed by content analysis. As a result of research both pre-school and primary school teachers. In conclusion, both pre-school teachers and primary school teachers presented their views as, all children should get ready to school, calendar age was not enough for schooling, it was inconvenient to leave the decision to parents their 60 months children’s’ schooling and schools physical structure was not proper for those children
