Üretici-dönüşümsel dil bilgisi, söz dizimiyle ilgili olan hususları incelemektedir. Bu kuramsal yaklaşım, bir dildeki cümle oluşturacak olan sözcüklerin birleşimlerinin dizilerini tahmin etmeye çalışmaktadır. Bundan dolayı üretici-dönüşümsel dil bilgisi, yüzey yapı ilişkilerinin yanında derin yapı ilişkilerini de göz önünde bulundurmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, sözcük bileşenlerinin dizilerinin hem derin hem de yüzey yapı ilişkileri göz önünde bulundurularak birleşik cümle konusu altında değerlendirilen şartlı birleşik cümle ve fiilimsilerle bağlanan birleşik cümle yapıları bu çerçevede incelenmiştir. Yan cümle ve ana cümle arasındaki bağlantıyı sağlayan birleşik cümle yapısı, bir dil bilgisi kategorisini oluşturmaktadır. Bir dildeki işaretsiz karşılıklar, üretici-dönüşümsel yaklaşımın derin yapısını oluşturmaktadır. Türkçede işaretsiz durumlar genel olarak iyelik menşeli üçüncü teklik ve çokluk şahıs ekleri ve zamir menşeli üçüncü teklik ve çokluk şahıs ekleri, geniş zaman eki, sıfatların tamladığı adların derin yapıda düşmüş biçimleri ve üzerinde durduğumuz birleşik yapının yan cümlesini oluşturan fiilin derin yapıda taşıdığı kip-zaman ve şahıs eklerini göstermek için kullanılmaktadır ve bu işaretsiz durumların yerini sıfır biçim birimi olarak adlandırdığımız birim tutmaktadır. Bu birimler, ek ya da gövde hâlindeki unsurların derin yapıda var sayıldığına işaret etmektedir. Bu çalışmada özellikle şartlı birleşik cümle ve fiilimsilerle bağlanan birleşik cümle yapıları üzerinde durulmuş ve bu yapıların neden birleşik cümle kategorisinde değerlendirilmesi gerekliliği belirtilmiştir.
Generative-transformational grammar analyses aspects of syntax. This theoretical approach attempt stopredict these quences of combinations of words that will form sentences in a language. Therefore, generative-transformational grammar takes in to account deep structure relations as well as surface structure relations. In this study, both deepand surface structure relations of these quences of lexical component sare taken into consideration. Conditional compound sentences and compound sentences connected with verbs, which are evaluated under the subject of compound sentences, are analysed within this framework. The compound sentence structure, which provides the connection between the subordinate clause and the main clause, constitutes a grammatical category. The unlabelled correspondences in a language constitute the deep structure of the generative-transformational approach. In Turkish, the unlabelled cases are generally used to indicate the possessive third person singular and plural personal suffixes, the pronoun-based third person singular and plural personal suffixes, the simple present tense suffix, the deep-structure forms of the nouns complemented by adjectives, and the deep-structure modal-tense and personal suffixes of the verb forming the subordinate clause of the compound structure we are considering. And these unlabelled cases are replaced by what we call the zero morphological unit. These units indicate that elements in the form of affixes or stems are considered to exist in the deep structure. In this study, especially conditional compound sentences and compound sentence structures connected with verbs are emphasised. And it is stated why these structures should be evaluated in the compound sentence category.
