Since the members of the monotheistic religions believe in prophethood, their main point of distinction is that their prophets' message is the most correct one compared to what other prophets brought, and their own prophets claim to be superior to other prophets in rank. While the members of the religion were trying to prove the high degrees of their prophets, they generally benefited from the miracles shown by that prophet. Apart from the use of miracles as evidence for prophethood, the concept of the prophet who showed superiority to other prophets with his miracles has been accepted also among Muslims. Therefore Muslims wrote separate works describing the miracles of Prophet Muhammad, such as works in the type of dalail al-nubuwwa. Muslims wrote these works in order to prove to Jews and Christians, who narrate the miracles of their prophets, that Prophet Muhammad is a true prophet, and that he and his ummah are superior to other prophets and ummahs. These works argue that the superiority of the miracles shown by Prophet Muhammad over the miracles shown by other prophets in terms of quality and quantity indicates the superiority of Prophet Muhammad over other prophets. The book that Altiparmaq Muhammed Efendi translated from Persian to Turkish and named Dalail-i Nubuwwat-i Muhammedi and Shamail-i Futuwwat-i Ahmadi is one of these works. In this book, which was very popular in the Turkish-Islamic society, hundreds of miracles of Prophet Muhammad were told, and by these miracles, his superiority over other prophets was emphasized. In this article, considering the purpose of the book, how the miracles were used as a criterion of superiority in the prophets will be examined. It will be also examined how Prophet Muhammed's superiority over other prophets was proved by the miraculous events that took place around him will be examined.
