The organizations desiring to adapt the developing technologies and to meet continuously changing and increasing customer demands, and to survive in a competitive environment should be able to manage the process of their organizational change. Extensive changes have been carried out in the health sector in order to keep up with the developing technologies and to meet increasing qualified service demands of the people. The most current changes in the health sector in Turkey have been accomplished by means of the Health Transformation Program that was realized in the periods of 2003-2009 and 2009-2014, and is composed of two-phases. The aim of the study is to determine the perceptions of healthcare personnel toward the organizational change process during the Health Transformation Program. For this purpose, a research is carried out by means of questionnaire technique in the Burdur State Hospital. According to the findings of the questionnaire that is analyzed with the SPSS software, it is found that the organizational change in the hospital is composed of service-providing methods, hospital procedures, human resources and technological fields. It is determined that the primary objective of the organizational change process in the hospital is to increase the customer satisfaction level of patients and their relatives, and that the healthcare professionals are informed during the process. It is also determined also that the most important cause of the resistance against the organizational change is the possibility of change in present routines after the change process.
