Teachers should continue their professional development and update their knowledge continuously after they are employed. One of the activities that can be organized for the professional development of teachers is workshops. Workshops are the works of experts in a profession to share their knowledge, ideas and experiences in a planned way through oral or applied studies. State Conservatory of Afyon Kocatepe University has been organizing a music education workshop for twelve years, especially for music teachers, classroom teachers and preschool teachers. The aim of this study is to present the opinions of music teachers about music education workshops in Afyonkarahisar. For this purpose, an open-ended questionnaire was applied to the music teachers who participated in the twelfth workshop to get their views on the workshop. The study is a qualitative research. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. In the light of the data obtained, it was concluded that the workshops were evaluated as studies including new topics and practices that contributed to the professional development of music teachers. In addition, it has been determined that the workshop practices make music teachers' lessons more effective, increase the communication and exchange of information between teachers and it is an activity that should be continued.
