Learner corpus (LC) studies are situated at the crossroads of four interrelated subjects: corpus linguistics, linguistic theory, second language acquisition, and foreign language teaching (Granger, 2009). A LC, like International Corpus ofLearner English (ICLE), contributes to these fields with the abundance of hands-onmaterial enabling the researchers to examine various variables that could affectEnglish interlanguage. This study aims at introducing Turkish International Corpusof Learner English (TICLE), which has recently been published by Universitécatholique de Louvain in Belgium, as a subcorpus of ICLE with samples from theactual corpus
