This research was carried out with the aim of determining the access and attitude effect of the mathematical teaching related to the music theory on cuts and proportions. For this purpose; 5. Class "Processes with Disasters" has been prepared activities and work leaves related to the achievements found in the under-learning field. In this study, with 23 participants in the experimental and control group, half-experimental methods were used. The Mathematical Access Test, developed by the researcher for the collection of data within the research scope, was also used by Nazlıçiçek-Erktin in 2002 developed the Short Mathematical Attitude Scale. Both measurement tools for all students in the experiment and control group are applied as a pre-test and final test. The data obtained from the Mathematical Access Test were analyzed by T-Test by dependent and independent groups, while the frequency was used in the analysis of short-response questions in the Mathematical Access Test. The research finds that the mathematical teaching associated with music theory increases students’ access to mathematics, while students’ mathematical attitudes are more positively affected than the control group.
