Yûnus Emre, Dîvan'ında birçok peygamber ve sûfîyi zikretmiştir. Bunlar arasında ilk sûfîlerden bir çok kişinin ismi mükerrer bir şekilde geçerken, muasırı olan sûfîlerden çok azının ismi geçmektedir. Bu birkaç isim arasında ismi defalarca zikredilen tek sûfî ise Hallâc'tır. Bu bakımdan Yûnus'un gözünde Hallâc'ın ayrı bir yeri vardır. Kimi sûfîler Hallâc'ı çeşitli nedenlerle eleştirirken kimileri onu savunmuş ve kitaplarında saygıyla anmıştır. Yûnus ise Dîvân'ında Hallâc'ı âşıkların sembolü olarak zikretmekte ve kendisini de onunla özdeşleştirerek birçok yerde Mansûr ve Hallâc diye nitelemektedir.
