The aim of study is to measure financial performance of the biggest 10 banks of Turkish banking system between 2005-2015 years according to the CAMELS rating system. The measurement of the financial performance of banks can be done in many different method. In this study, the CAMELS method is used which measures the adequacy and quality of the bank by financial ratios. In order to analyze the effects of the global financial crisis of 2008 on Turkish banking system, it was measured with the data of years 2005-2015. According to the results of analysis Akbank, Garanti Bank, Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, İş Bank and Vakıflar Bank have positive performance. However, Finansbank, Denizbank, TEB, Yapı ve Kredi Bank have been performing poorly.
