Bilim ve teknoloji alanında yaşanan gelişmelere bağlı ortaya çıkan ihtiyaçlar ve değişen tüketim alışkanlıkları insanların doğal çevre üzerindeki etkilerinin artmasına neden olmuştur. İnsanın çevreye olan müdahalesi arttıkça doğal dengenin bozulması sonucunda oluşan çevre sorunları tüm canlıların yaşamını olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu araştırmada Yozgat’ta yaşayan insanların çevre sorunlarına ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel bir çalışma olup görüşme yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiş betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Yozgat’ta yaşayan 170 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcıların görüşlerine göre Yozgat’ta yaşanan en önemli çevre sorunları çöpler, atıklar, hava, su ve gürültü kirliliği, kentleşme ve ormanların tahrip edilmesidir. Bu sorunların sebepleri eğitim eksikliği, bilinçsizlik ve duyarsızlık olarak ifade edilmiştir. Katılımcılar, çevre sorunlarının çözümü için çevre eğitimi etkinliklerinin arttırılmasını, denetim ve ceza uygulanmasını önermişlerdir. Katılımcıların gösterdikleri çevre dostu davranışların çevreye çöp atmamak, atanları uyarmak, geri dönüşüme özen göstermek ve düzenlenen çevre etkinlilerine katılmak olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The developments in science and technology and the changing consumption habits have led to the increased impact of people on the natural environment. As the human intervention in the environment increases, the environmental problems resulting from the disruption of the natural balance have a negative impact on the life of all living beings. This study aims to identify the views of people living in Yozgat on environmental issues. Research is a qualitative study and a visual study carried out by the method of conversation. The data obtained in the study was analyzed by content analysis method. The study includes 170 people living in Yozgat. According to participants, the most important environmental problems in Yozgat are waste, waste, air, water and noise pollution, urbanization and the destruction of forests. The causes of these problems are expressed as lack of education, unconsciousness and insensitivity. Participants have suggested an increase in environmental education activities, supervision and punishment to solve environmental problems. The environmentally friendly behaviors demonstrated by the participants were not to throw waste into the environment, to warn the thieves, to take care of recycling and to participate in organized environmental events.
The needs and changing consumption habits that stem from the developments in the fields of science and technology have increased people's influence on the natural environment. As the human intervention in the environment increases, the environmental problems based on the deterioration of natural balance affect the life of all living creatures negatively. This study aims to determine the views of people living in Yozgat on environmental problems. It is a qualitative and descriptive study adopting the interview method. The study data were analyzed by the content analysis method. The sample of the study consists of 170 people living in Yozgat. According to the participants' opinions, the most critical environmental problems in Yozgat are garbage, waste, air, water and noise pollution, urbanization, and destruction of forests. The causes of these problems were expressed as lack of education, unconsciousness, and insensitivity. Participants suggested increasing environmental training activities, implementing supervision, and punishment to solve environmental problems. The participants' environmentally friendly behaviors were not to throw rubbish in the environment, to warn those who throw away, to intend to recycle, and to participate in environmental activities and organizations.
