This study attempts to analyze the views of the school administrators working at preschool, primary and secondary schools regarding preschool education. Having a qualitative research model, the study used a phenomenological design. The working group consisted of 21 school administrators working at different education levels in Kahramanmaraş Province during the 2019-2020 academic year. The data were collected through interviews. Content analysis was used during data analysis. The findings revealed that all school administrators deemed pre-school education necessary; they tried to support pre-school education within the institution's facilities; they had expectations from preschool education to prepare children for primary school, to teach them social rules, and to create their self-confidence and socialization infrastructures; there were various advantages and disadvantages offered by the kindergartens to the institution; the school administrators having kindergarten within their institutions experienced problems related to parents, school and children. School administrators also provided various recommendations. Parents’ awareness about the importance of preschool education should be raised, the personnel should be appointed to the kindergartens, and the number of independent kindergartens should be increased.
